I have such Godly roommates and I feel so blessed that we get the opportunity to live with one another and grow together as roommates and women of God! Tonight we had a little reunion since we had all been gone for awhile for Christmas...it was quality time in all aspects of the term! We started out just talking about house stuff and quickly moved to catching up on each other's lives. There were major spiritual moments of honesty and trust and it was really beautiful! Just living in a community where it is comfortable enough to discuss tough issues of accountability and spiritual well being is an awesome place to be! I'm just so thankful to have roommates that are willing to sit up talking through relationships and job opportunities some of my roommates are considering with the new change and shift in DC. It's such a place of freedom and I feel like at the end of the night I just need to say AMEN because I couldn't have asked for a better place to live in DC and God truly answered my prayers!
I couldn't ask for better!
On a lighter note...DC is expecting 5 million people for inauguration in a couple of weeks! Being that we live extremely close to the Capitol building we are strongly considering selling bottles of water and hot cocoa outside our house! Just kidding...but I'm really interested to see how this all works out! It's going to be chaos and it's going to be historical and this is where I live! CRAZY!
